I grew up in a small town in western Minnesota where I developed an appreciation for agriculture. I still return to my roots to hunt and visit with friends that never left. I’ve been in technology my entire career. After graduating from college with a degree in Mathematics, I became a contact programmer at 3M that lasted ten years. My IT career progressed into management and leadership positions when I joined Cargill then CHS, Inc. I continued to lead IT development teams at Jostens, Lifetouch, Edina Realty, and most recently at Homes for Heroes. I’ve always been on the “development” side of IT and enjoy innovating, optimizing, and problem solving. My wife has put up with me for over three decades and we have a daughter, son, and daughter-in-law that have graduated college and have their own successful careers. My hobbies include hunting, golfing, and motorcycling. I am also an avid sports fan.
